What is Reiki and why does it work?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique developed in the early 1900s by Mikao Usui. Dr. Usui proclaimed that all dis-ease comes into the spiritual body first and then manifests as physical illness.
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include stress reduction, relaxation, promoting your body’s own natural healing, better moods, cognitive benefits, and relief of symptoms. This is a small class of no more than four people so everyone will have their own space to lie comfortably on the floor with soft music playing in the background.
Reiki Education
There are three levels of Reiki training that can be attained, and these are centered on the attunement or empowerment process, combined with education and practice.
